18.30% of our most recent reporting year* budget went to overhead, leaving 81.70% for research programs and mission advancement!

We saw an increase in FY23 operating expenses compared to FY22 due to a number of factors including bringing back in person events, inflation, rising costs of goods and services and variable growth related expenses.

Project Periwinkle is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Great financial stewardship, transparency, and accountability are values that we hold dearly.  In order for our impact to be maximized, none of our officers, directors, or employees accept compensation, resulting in a completely volunteer based organization.

Our IRS 990 forms can be found below.  Prior to 2021, we fell below the detailed reporting threshold guidelines set by the IRS and therefore were required to file only a 990-N postcard electronically.  More information on IRS reporting guidelines and be found on the IRS website. Our 2024 reporting year (starting 5/1/2023) ends on April 30, 2024.
