An Update to Our Board

We would like to announce an update to our Board of Directors, effective February 15, 2021.  Alex Eanes will be leaving the Board, and the organization, following the conclusion of his 3rd term as a Director, on February 15th.  

Alex has been a part of this organization for over 6 years, prior to Day 1 when Project Periwinkle was just an idea and a dream.  Since 2014, Alex has been a part of the formation of this organization, overseen its growth and provided oversight on all we have done since, including funding of research programs at four institutions in the U.S., and organizational expansion beyond the borders of the United States.  Alex’s dedication, commitment, and advisement will be missed, and his service to Project Periwinkle will be gratefully remembered, as he moves on from Project Periwinkle and his role on our board.

With this vacancy, however, we are excited to announce and welcome Mike Babcock to Project Periwinkle’s Board of Directors.  Mike was born and raised in the St. Louis area, where he still resides.  He works as an insurance broker at his family company, Babcock Financial Group, and previously worked in the commercial banking industry.  He married his wife, Leah, at the beginning of April 2020, and they are the proud owners of an Aussiedoodle named Georgie.  Mike will start his role on February 15th, and we are excited to welcome him to Project Periwinkle!  You can learn more about Mike, and read his bio, here.
